COVID Shortage Notice
The step by step instructions below describe the way we operate during normal times when our poly furniture is plentiful. Due to material shortages our basic system of making a list and calling Brent has become more complicated.
Step 1:
Make your list with descriptions and prices
Step 2:
Call Brent at 717-515-1953 to confirm everything is in stock.
Step 3:
We will hold everything on your list (no deposit needed) if you can come in less than 2 weeks (see Address/Hours page for pickup appointment slots).
Step 4:
Please confirm with Brent that your order will fit in the vehicle you plan to bring.
Step 5:
Please confirm with Brent how many moving blankets and ratchet straps you will need to bring.
Paying By Check:
If you plan to pay by check, make sure to bring extra checks in case you write several out incorrectly. We are happy to take your check, but it needs to be legible and can't have things crossed out.
Order Sizes:
Because of high demand we need to limit order sizes to approximately 50 pieces or less per scheduled pickup. If you want to order 100-200 items, please split your order into 2 orders with 2 separate pickup dates.

AVOID Uhaul 5' x 9' Utility Trailer
Most of our chairs measure 31" wide or more. This trailer only has 57" inside width clearance. This doesn't allow for 2 chairs totaling 61" to fit side by side. It is only good for hauling about 6 chairs total. |
AVOID The Uhaul 10' Box Truck If Hauling Chaise Lounge Chairs or 44x84x30 Tables Because The Inside Wheel Wells Get In The Way
If you rent a truck from Uhaul (instead of Enterprise) don't get the 10' box truck (pictured above) if you are buying a lot of furniture. The 10' box truck has wheel wells that often get in the way. This is especially true when trying to haul 44x84 tables and chaise lounge chairs. |
The Best Trailer To Rent
Uhaul 6x12 Enclosed Trailer May Cost $15 - $40 to Rent Our customers often rent trailers from U-Haul. It only works if they have access to a vehicle with a hitch and a brake light connection. Several folks said they paid $15-$40 for the 1 day rental of a Uhaul trailer if picked up and dropped off at the same location on the same day. Pictured is a 6' x 12' enclosed trailer. This trailer is the best choice if you plan to haul more than a few pieces of furniture. click on picture for larger view We've had several customers bring Home Depot's box truck.

Cheapest Way To Haul Furniture
Rent an Enterprise Cargo Van For $78 to $85 If you don't have access to a vehicle that can pull a trailer, renting a cargo van from Enterprise can be an economical alternative. We have had several customers tell us that a 1 day Cargo Van rental from Enterprise with unlimited mileage is in the $79 range. Also, someone mentioned that Costco members can get a discount from Enterprise. click on image for larger view We've had several customers bring Budget box trucks.
