What is Poly?
Poly lumber is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), UV-inhibited pigments, and foaming compounds. A common source of HDPE is recycled plastic milk jugs which are extruded into a rigid board stock material. Poly Lumber is impervious to all types of weather conditions including rain, snow, salt water, sun and ice. The characteristics of this durable material are both pleasant to the eyes and touch. Poly lumber has exceptional resistance to corrosive substances, oil and fuels, insects, fungi, salt spray, and other environmental stresses. Poly lumber does not absorb moisture. Poly outdoor furniture requires no water proofing, painting, staining, or similar maintenance when used in exterior applications. Poly furniture has excellent weathering resistance; however, it is possible that the material will fade slightly over the service life of the product. One of our suppliers said: "we can't say zero fade, but it's close." Black poly is the most fade resistant color!

84" tables versus 64" tables:
Please only buy a table set if you are sure it is the right size for your situation. Every 2 years I get this call: "Brent I bought the 44x64 table and now that I got it home I think the 44x84 would be better." Remember that the difference between 64" and 84" is only 20". Please open up a tape measure to observe that 20" is not a game changing amount of room. We specialize in selling large table sets for much lower prices than traditional furniture stores and the internet. We accomplish this through extreme efficiency. Our business is carefully designed to serve the 99.9% of our customers who are confident in their own ability to make a good decision and be happy with it. Please only buy what you are 100% sure you want to keep.

Does poly furniture warm up in the sun?
On hot summer days it is our opinion that all poly furniture colors warm up in direct sunlight (except maybe white) . White poly might be a good option if it wasn't nearly impossible to clean. During the past 17 years we have had over 20,000 repeat customers who have come back to buy more black and tan poly furniture. 99.99% of our repeat customers do not mention that the temperature of their poly furniture in the sun is a problem. If you are concerned that poly furniture warms up in the sun on hot days it might not be the right product for you. Please only buy what you are 100% sure you want to keep.
What if I need a replacement part?
There is a chance that your poly furniture might need to be repaired in the future. Poly lumber can be purchased for a reasonable price to do repairs. Parts often cost $5-$10 each. Shipping is not economical so you will need to pick the parts up at our location.

Is your poly furniture perfect and will it last forever?
Approximately 80% of our customers are repeat customers and their friends and family. Our customers tell us over a thousand times each year that they really like what they bought from us in the past. Poly furniture is not perfect and it probably won't look perfect forever. The best way I can describe poly furniture is this: If you buy nice poly furniture at a reasonable price there probably aren't too many better options in outdoor furniture. We try to improve every single day and ask our Amish builders to do the same. Hopefully you will agree with our thousands of repeat customers that we sell quality poly furniture at reasonable prices. Our Amish poly furniture builders and their poly lumber suppliers are not perfect, but they consistently deliver nice products at reasonable prices. If you seek perfection 100% of the time you might not want to buy from us. We are always looking for Amish poly furniture builders who can offer better workmanship, better comfort, better style and better value.
STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE & SALT WATER:
When stainless steel hardware is exposed to salt water it is possible that surface rust may be visible. The poly furniture industry's main stainless steel hardware supplier is of the opinion that any rust observed is cosmetic surface rust and is not structural. It is a good idea to rinse off the stainless steel hardware several times each year with fresh water in order minimize rust from saltwater.
PRESSURE WASHING POLY FURNITURE:
Many customers tell us that they pressure wash their poly furniture every year and that it works great. Every few years someone calls us to ask how to restore the surface of their poly furniture after their spouse puts a powerful pressure washer nozzle too close to their furniture and changes the surface appearance of the furniture. It's because of this rare situation that we don't recommend using a pressure washer to clean your furniture. Under normal circumstances a wet rag and a buckets of water is all you need. If you need more that that try using Dawn dish soap and a soft bristle brush.
Unrealistic Hauling Plans:
Once every few months, I receive an order from a customer who seems unable to collaborate with me on a suitable hauling plan. I care a lot that your furniture arrives at your home in good condition (with no shipping damage). On rare occasions, I get a call from a distressed customer whose spouse carelessly scuffed up their furniture while transporting everything home. I try to avoid this situation at all costs even if it means losing the sale. After thinking about this situation for many years, I'm ready to test out this proposal: If I sense that your hauling plan isn't a good plan (in my opinion) I will agree to do it anyway if you pay with cash instead writing a check.
